House Tour: Cribs Edition

Last night, Miriam woke up around 11pm. She does this every so often. Usually you hand her a bottle and she'll drink it and go back to sleep. You don't even have to stay in the room with her while she drinks it. You can just hand it over and she'll take care of the rest. I love this girl.
But last night she was having a rough go and protested me leaving her alone with the bottle. So I brought her downstairs with me to play for a bit while I worked on the computer. She was quite helpful. Invaluable really. New nick name: Mini Muse.
I'm kidding. She was very busy and a huge distraction. My work came to a halt.

The silver lining in this story is that she went on to sleep through the night and didn't make a peep until 8:30 in the morning! And then napped for 5 hours in the afternoon. She is such a good baby! Or she's coming down with something. Both?

Today, G and I were stuck close to home since Miriam was sleeping the day away. We had a large appliance box in our garage so I decided to make a fort!
There it is. A thing of beauty. No windows. Just a door. Georgina LOVED it!

It was super dark inside, which G didn't seem to mind all that much but it made playing inside it kind of boring. So I offered to cut out a window. She agreed as long as I only cut out one. She was very firm on this. We also drew some beautiful decor on it. I was drawing flowers and butterflies but Georgina explained that we needed rain and a light! A true Vancouverite.

Home sweet home. She invited me in and showed me where the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom all were. You'll have to stop by for a house tour one day.

She also had me draw a kitty on it that she would pretend to pick up and pet and talk to. She named it Prada.
